Sue Border

Director/Principal Geologist, Sue Border has over 25 years experience in the minerals industry. Sue specialises in project management and reserve estimation. Her broad experience includes periods as a mine geologist, consultant, academic and exploration manager before starting Geos Mining.

Sue has experience in a wide range of industrial minerals, with specialist knowledge of feldspar, kaolin, silica and garnet as well as other commodities. She has carried out research in geostatistics and mine quality control.

Sue is a fellow of AIG (Australian Institute of Geoscientists), a member of AusIMM (Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy) and MICA (Mineral Industry Consultants Association).

Geoff Lomman

Director/Business Manager, Geoff Lomman has extensive experience in the management of research and science teams. Geoff also has a background in international and domestic marketing and project management.

Murray Hutton

Technical manager (Gold and base metals), Murray Hutton has a wide experience in the management of major exploration programs. He presently manages the gold and base metals group in Geos Mining and has a strong commitment to customer service and fostering a team approach to problem solving. He is proficient in meeting ASX requirements and in technical reporting and has strong database, graphics & GIS application skills. Murray has previously worked in extensively in Australia, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Philippines in various senior roles.

Llyle Sawyer

Technical manager (Uranium & special metals), Llyle Sawyer has extensive exploration knowledge in uranium, gold and base metals. He presently manages the uranium and special metals group in Geos Mining and has strong organisational skills as well as considerable expertise in the management of field programs and safety policies. A member of the AIG (Australian Institute of Geoscientists), Llyle has strong environmental qualifications with particular skills in open cut gold mining and in environmental and native title negotiations.
